ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Arusha – Snake Park – Tarangire
Leave Arusha in the morning for the Snake Park, where you can observe some of the world’s most venomous snakes including Green and Black Mamba, Puff Adderr and Gaboon Viper, as well as other reptiles including Lizards, Chameleons and Nile Crocodiles (from a safe distance). Maasai outside the park also provide camel rides. After lunch drive to Tarangire National Park for an afternoon game drive, where large families of Elephants can be seen all year round. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro
Enjoy a sunrise game drive in Tarangire National Park, which is second only to the Serengeti ecosystem for its density of wildlife. During the dry seasons; thousands of animals migrate from the ‘Maasai steppe’ to Tarangire River looking for water. After lunch drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 3: Ngorongoro – Ngorongoro Crater – Ngorongoro
After breakfast descend into this astonishing ‘Natural Zoo,’ as the the Ngorongoro Crater is commonly referred as. Abundant with wildlife, you have a high chance of spotting ‘the Big Five,’ which includes lion. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti
After breakfast head off to the world’s most famous national park, Serengeti National Park. It is home to more than four million different animals including Lions, Spotted Hyenas, Leopards, Cheetahs, Servals, Caracals, Giraffes, Buffalos, Topi, Hartebeests, Waterbucks, Impalas, Reedbucks, Bushbucks, Kirk’s Dik-diks, Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, and Warthogs as well as diverse birdlife. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 5: Serengeti – Olduvai Gorge – Maasai Boma – Lake Manyara
Enjoy a sunrise game drive on the endless plains of the Serengeti. Later drive towards Lake Manyara National Park for dinner and overnight with an optional stop at ‘the cradle of mankind’ as Olduvai Gorge is commonly called, and/or visit a colourful Maasai tribal village. The Maasai still live the same way they have for centuries. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 6: Lake Manyara
Enjoy a whole day dedicated to exploring Lake Manyara National Park, situated on the footsteps of the Great Rift Valley.

This lush ‘little park’ situated on the footsteps of the Great Rift Valley and provides a home to a wide range of different animals including Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Hippos as well as more than 400 species of birds. It is most famous for its tree-climbing Lions, resting on Acacia branches six to seven meters above the ground. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 7: Lake Manyara – Arusha National Park – Arusha
After breakfast drive to Arusha National Park for game viewing. First enjoy a 2 hour walking safari, where you will join Giraffes, Buffalos, Zebras, various antelopes and fluffy-tailed Black and White Colobus Monkeys. After lunch take a game drive to the Momela Lakes, frequented by Pink Flamingos, and visit the volcanic Ngurdoto Crater. Return to Arusha town in the late afternoon hours.
