INTRODUCING Arusha National Park (or Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire National Park)

This day trip is perfect for anyone who is short of time or just visiting Arusha town but still want to see Tanzania’s wildlife and culture – who may also want to stretch their legs and not only sit in a safari vehicle throughout the tour. Arusha National Park is the only park in the Northern Circuit where you can enjoy a Walking Safari.

During your walking safari in Arusha National Park you will be accompanied by an armed Ranger to protect you from wildlife.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Arusha – Arusha National Park – Arusha
In the morning depart Arusha for Arusha National Park for all-day game viewing. First you will participate in a few-hours walking, where you will safely approach grazing Giraffes, Buffalos, Zebras, and various antelopes as well as searching for fluffy-tailed Black and White Colobus Monkeys, for which the park is renowned.

After lunch you will see the rest of the park in a vehicle. The alkaline Momela Lakes attract thousands of Pink Flamingos and the volcanic Ngurdoto Crater is dramatic and surrounded with forest, full of shy antelope. Return to Arusha town in late afternoon hours.
