Our News section is on its way.
We are putting together a space where the story of Pure Afro Travels continues beyond the tour pages: field updates from our guides, honest accounts from guests who have just returned, seasonal wildlife reports, and the kind of firsthand information that only comes from spending twenty years on the ground in Tanzania.
If you have a question that our FAQ does not yet answer, get in touch directly.
In the meantime, follow us on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube where we share updates from the field as they happen.
=> IMPORTANT UPDATE (1st October 2026): Mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance for Tanzania came into effect on 1st October 2026 and it is required in addition to any international travel insurance you already have. Every foreign visitor to the United Republic of Tanzania (Mainland Tanzania & Zanzibar) needs an official inbound travel insurance issued by the national insurers (National Insurance Corporation-NIC for the Mainland OR Zanzibar Insurance Corporation-ZIC for Zanzibar) with point of entry determining which one you need to buy (both policies cover the whole of Tanzania). We have prepared a simple guide that explains what is covered, who is exempt and where to buy, including official purchase links.
