DAY 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara -
Ngorongoro
Depart Arusha in the morning for Lake
Manyara National Park game drive. In this »little park« situated
under the Great Rift Valley, the concentration of Elephants per
sq km is Tanzania’s
highest! Beside them you can spot a wide range of different animals
including unusual »tree-climbing Lions« resting on Acacia
branches six to seven meters above the ground! In the afternoon a
drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
DAY 2: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire
After
breakfast descend into the astonishing »Natural Zoo«,
the Ngorongoro Crater, abundant with wildlife and where you will
have a very high chance to spot »the
Big Five«, which
includes also African Elephant! Picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, a drive towards Tarangire
National Park for dinner and
overnight. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
DAY 3:
Tarangire – Arusha
A whole day game drive in
Tarangire National Park, where a large concentration of Elephants
can be seen all year round. During the dry seasons it is the second
only to the Serengeti ecosystem for its density of wildlife; thousands
of animals migrate from Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River looking
for water. Picnic lunch in the park. In the afternoon, a drive
back to Arusha town.
End of tour!
