DAY 1: Arusha – Arusha National
Park - Tarangire
In the morning depart
Arusha for Arusha National Park game viewing. At first a few-hour
walking safari, where you will join Giraffes, Buffalos, Zebras,
various antelopes and fluffy-tailed Black and White Colobus Monkeys!
After lunch a game drive to Momela Lakes full of Pink Flamingos
and volcanic Ngurdoto Crater. In the afternoon transfer towards Tarangire
National Park for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
DAY 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara
»Sunrise
game drive« in Tarangire National
Park,
where thousands of animals migrate from Maasai steppe to the Tarangire
River looking for water. And here, large families of Elephants can
be seen all year round. After lunch a drive to the lush Lake
Manyara National Park situated right under the Great Rift Valley for afternoon
game drive. This »little park« provides home to a wide
range of different animals but is famous for its unusual »tree-climbing
Lions«, resting on Acacia branches six to seven meters above
the ground! More than 400 species of birds have been recorded here
as well! Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
DAY 3: Lake Manyara -
Serengeti
After breakfast head off straight to the world’s
most famous park, Serengeti National
Park, a home to more than
four million different animals and best known for its yearly »Great
Migration«! Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
DAY 4: Serengeti – Olduvai
Gorge – Maasai Boma – Ngorongoro
The whole
morning is spent in search for Lions, Spotted Hyenas, Leopards,
Cheetahs, Servals, Caracals, Giraffes, Buffalos, Topis, Hartebeests,
Waterbucks, Impalas, Reedbucks, Bushbucks, Kirk’s
Dik-diks, Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, Warthogs and diverse birdlife
around »Endless Plains«, as Serengeti was named by Maasai.
After lunch, a drive to »the cradle of mankind« as Olduvai Gorge is also called, and a stop by a colourful Maasai tribe,
who still live the same way as they have for centuries! Dinner and
overnight in Ngorongoro
Conservation Area. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
DAY 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After
breakfast descend inside »the eight wonder of the world«,
the Ngorongoro
Crater abundant with wildlife and where you will have
a chance to search for »the Big Five«. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon a drive back to Arusha.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE
On 1 January 2006 the following actions from Tanzanian Government came into effect and resulted in the rise of the 2006 price of Northern Circuit Express Tours:
1) 24-hour government fee to enter Serengeti National Park increased for 70%.
2) Ngorongoro Crater Fee quadrupled and only half-day crater tour is allowed.
In addition, on 1 July 2006 the following actions from Tanzanian Government came into effect and resulted in the additional rise of the 2006 price of all Northern Circuit Express Tours:
1) 24-hour government fee to enter Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park increased for 40%.
2) Camping Fees for Basic Campsites increased for 50% and 25% for Special Campsites.
3) Vehicle Fees in all National Parks doubled. |
