Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA), informs Tour Operators
and the Public that with effect from 1st November 2007 payment of all Park fees will ONLY be through Electronic Cards at all Gates already installed with the facilities. Payment by Cash and Cheques will therefore NOT be accepted.

On 1 July 2007 the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Aurhority will implement
additional 70% increase of
the Ngorongoro Conservation Area fee as well as 100% increase of the Ngorongoro Crater fee
and 50% camping feee, resulting in the rise of 2007 prices of all Safari Tours which include sightseeing of this natural wonder (IMPORTANT: everybody who wish to visit the Ngorongoro Crater needs to pay Ngorongoro Conservation Area fee as well as the Ngorongoro Crater fee!)!
